Hello! First, we'd like to thank the City of Lakeway for having us out for the annual cooking decorating at the Eggstravaganza! It was a lot of fun!

We also had a great time doing a train birthday party! Happy Birthday, Colin!

Our Summer Registration is up, and the deadline to sign up for all summer classes and the camp (including Mommy and Me classes) is June 1st! We want to ensure that we have enough staff and supplies, so please sign up early! Click here for information and registration links for summer!

Hello!

We missed the blog last week due to getting all of the summer plans in order!

In June, we will offer our traditional classes (we will extend the drop off classes to 1.5 hours). And, in July, we will offer our traditional Mommy and Me classes and offer a brand new summer camp! The camp is very unique in that you can register for the full day for the month, or just a class for the month!

Our new website is in the home stretch! It will be done in the very near future, and we may be biased, but it is a really neat website! We'll let you know when it "goes live!"

We are so excited for this week! We begin at our location within Abercorn International School tomorrow, February 1st! We are elated and cannot wait to get started!

To register for classes go to our home page and click the class that you would like to register for. I will email a code to take one class off this afternoon for those in Lakeway, since I was sick the 3rd week. Soon, this will be embedded within our new site, but until then, everything you'll need to register from home is there, otherwise you can register when you come to class.

Also, beginning in March, we will have many new, exciting classes! Check back soon for those great opportunities!

Hello! We have extremely exciting news!

We will be starting in our own location on February 1, 2011! We are so excited and cannot wait to make the atmosphere more personalized for everyone!

The location is in Abercorn International School, which is at 601 RR 620 South in Lakeway. We feel so fortunate to be a part of such a loving and wonderful community!

I wanted to mention our Gingerbread Events that are approaching! We will be holding Gingerbread Events in most of our locations throughout December. Check our calendar for all of the locations, dates and times, and be sure to sign up in advance, since "drop ins" are not guaranteed! We are offering family events in the mornings and "drop off" events for just the kids in the afternoons! These are sure to be lots of fun and everyone will leave with a beautiful, delicious Gingerbread House to display through the Holiday Season!

Also, with the Holidays approaching, I wanted to also mention our Kid Kits! Kid Kits are art projects "to go!" Each Kid Kit contains everything a child needs to create a unique art project. Children can literally take the kit outside, since everything needed in included! Kid Kits make perfect Hannukah, Christmas and Birthday gifts for kids! Hello! As the Holiday Season approaches us, I just wanted to let everyone know about Gingerbread Events! We'll be offering family events for all ages from 11-12:30 every Saturday in December at various locations. To register for this event, you will register at the location by the Gingerbread House. Also, we'll offer a drop off Gingerbread Event for kids ages 5-12 from 1-4 every Saturday in December. To register for this event you will register at the location per person. Also, do you have old jackets or coats your little ones have grown out of? Spread the warmth and the love; Coats for Kids is about to begin taking donations! Coats for Kids helps to bring warm coats to children of Central Texas. They will be hosting a collection drive at Bee Cave park on Tuesday Nov 30th from 2:30-5pm. Cash donations are also welcome! Just $15 will buy a new coat. Collection is from Nov 15th -Dec 1st.

We have really exciting news this week! The Lern Organization has given Lupine Lane's After School Supper Club an award for it's innovation, practicality and uniqueness! Read the press release here! Hello! Boy, what a fantastic summer! We had a lot of fun with your kiddos this summer! We hope the Summer of 2010 was one to remember for everyone!

There is a lot to talk about!! First, we are so excited for fall and the holiday season! We have new themes for this month and beyond that we are so excited about! We can't wait to share them with the kids! Check out our calendar for specific dates and times!

A quick update on new locations! Lupine Lane will be offering Absolutely Art on Tuesdays from 3:45-4:45 and Kinder Cooks on Thursdays from 3:45-4:45 at the Abercorn International School in Lakeway! If you are looking for a fantastic preschool program for your child or know someone who is, this school is incredible! The diverse and enriching curriculum will definitely give kids a great education and expand their world perspective! (yes, even preschoolers!!) We are so excited to be working with Abercorn and look forward to classes there!

We will be offering once monthly classes at Miss Julie's Learning Center!! Stay tuned for dates! We are so excited to continue our work with the lovely people at Miss Julie's! Everyone there is so sweet and the kids there really develop a respect and kind regard toward people. It is fantastic to see little ones being so warm and caring to one another! Check out Miss Julie's if you are looking to enroll your child!

We will also be back at Steiner Ranch beginning this month! We will be there on Fridays, offering Lil' Absolutely Art, Lil' Kinder Cooks and The After School Supper Club!

And of course, we will offer our usual classes at the Lakeway Activity Center and the Clay Madsen Recreation Center! We have moved the Drop Off Classes at the Lakeway Activity Center to start at 3:30 for those starting school!

We are also beginning to offer classes at various schools and daycare's during the school day! For instance, we have conducted several art, cooking and music classes in schools with preschoolers, elementary and middle school age children! We would love to come to your child's class! If your child attends a day care, and you are interested in Lupine Lane offering a class there, please contact Lauren at lboyle@lupinelane.com or 512-565-1501!

In addition, we are here to help with your child's birthday party, your fall festival, holiday party or any other event! We can provide customized, enriching activities for the kids and would love to help! Contact Lauren at lboyle@lupinelane.com or 512-565-1501!

We would also like to introduce a couple of new classes to you all! We are going to begin offering Kid's Night Out on select Friday nights from 6-11pm at the Lakeway Activity Center! This fun evening will allow the parents to hit the town while the kids have a ball! Check it out!

We will also begin to offer the Teen Supper Club, for kids 12 and up at the Lakeway Activity Center! This class was added to serve the older kids that love to cook! The kids will cook from a different country every month and bring home dinner for 4!

Greetings!! Is summer really coming to an end?! Wow! Here we come, Fall, 2010!

Congratulations to Clay Madsen Recreation Center on 10 years of success and fun! We enjoy working with all of you and had a blast tie-dying t-shirts and decorating cookies with all of the kiddos at the celebration! Thank you for having us!

We would like send a big CONGRATULATIONS the Acuna family on their new arrival! Marin and Maeve are going to be awesome big sisters to Myles! We are so happy for you, Acuna Family, and we look forward to watching the "3 M's" grow and grow!!

This week, we begin new schedules at both Clay Madsen and Lakeway, as the kiddos (and parents) are getting ready to go back to school late this month. Check out our calendar for new times.

Additionally, check our calendar, locations and Facebook page often as we are getting ready to add new locations and classes, including a Supper Club for 12-16 year olds and a Kids Night Out. At Kids Night Out, your kids will have a ball making dinner, creating art projects and having a grand old time while you are out on the town!

This session in Lil' Absolutely Art and Absolutely Art, we'll be creating projects for the various holidays this month, including Chinese New Year, Valentine's Day, Presidents Day and Mardi Gras!

We'll be making Chinese Food in Lil' Kinder Cooks, Kinder Cooks and The After School Supper Club in honor of the Chinese New Year this month.

In Music Makers, we'll be learning about the staff, notes and more with Freddy the Frog!
